My approach to individual care is drawn from a variety of methods including Mindfulness, EMDR, CBT, creative expression, EFT, bibliotherapy, and psychodynamic, among others. Curiosity, Humor, and Wisdom will be our most valuable guides for this journey.
I offer traditional psychotherapy, meeting weekly or bi-monthly for up to an hour. Self-pay for consultations frees you to determine the scope of the work independently with your provider. When using insurance, the problem for which help is sought must be defined as a diagnosis, and the number of meetings can be limited. We can discuss both options to determine what is best for your situation.
I offer Two Hour Intensives; this model is useful if you are interested in one meeting (or just a few) to delve deeply into a specific concern with the benefit of support and guidance. Intensives are not insurance eligible. I also offer video and email contacts for established clients; fees are based on the structure of services we agree upon and fee information is provided in writing at the start of our work together. Video and email support are not insurance eligible.
